Providing the care a patient deserves

This is the number one goal of any healthcare system. In order to improve patient care in the fast-paced, evolving, and technologically advanced environment of a hospital, efficiency must be maximized. This can be done in a variety of ways. In hospitals, one effective way to achieve these high levels of productivity and quality care is by installing prefabricated headwalls in patient rooms.

HEALTHCARE OWNERS

How well does the forWard System transmit sound? ForWard can achieve a STC rating of 51 with no penetrations. Also, we use sound putty on back to back headwall units. Is the forWard System UL listed? Yes. Do you offer design assistance? Yes, we prefer to get involved early and listen to your needs and desires. Additionally, we can then help you customize an engineered solution.

INTERIOR DESIGN

What finishes and color options are available to me for the forWard® Headwall System? The forWard® steel panel is wrapped with OMNOVA vinyl for an easy to clean, durable finish. We offer 27 colors as standards, however, any manufacturer’s stock item is available for design consideration. With this in mind, just let us know what color and pattern you are interested in using and we can confirm stock and pricing for your project. Can you provide finish samples? Yes, let us know which samples you would like, and we will get them to you ASAP. Do you offer custom light boxes? Yes, we can provide almost any size and shape. Our light panels are flush mounted and provided with several finish options.

CONTRACTORS

What type of coordination can I expect for the forWard® Headwall System when the material is provided as OFE? We have installed commercial casework in hospitals, clinics and MOB’s for over 40 years and understand the high level of coordination required. Moreover, the forWard® system includes project management and installation identical to what contractors have come to expect from any other subcontractor on the job. What is the difference in cost between your system and traditional construction? If we are involved early in the budgeting process as the basis of design, we believe that it costs less to use our system. Often times, if traditional construction is priced first, we believe that when those trades are asked to provide a deduct, that they do not give all of the money back, therefore making our pricing look higher. Comparatively, the long-term benefits of a prefabricated system far outweigh those of traditional construction. Can your system help reduce construction cost? Yes. Our system is designed to fit within the wall eliminating the need for bed locators and reducing the overall square footage needed for each patient room.

Let's head forward together.
